Charissa Thompson was born in Seattle, Washington on the 4th of May 1982. She is known as a well-known and wealthy Sportscaster. ESPN analyst who was selected as co-host of SportsNation in 2012 She was also the co-host of ABC's Splash series with Joey Lawrence. Thompson grew as a child in Seattle Washington. The youngest of three, Thompson wanted to go into broadcasting at a young age. She attended Inglemoor High School at Kenmore Washington. Thompson moved to California to attend community college and gain California residency. Thompson then moved her studies to University of California Santa Barbara. Thompson graduated from the University of California, Santa Barbara, where she earned a Bachelor's diploma in Law and Society. Thompson claims that, despite the fact that Sports Illustrated said about her having left Washington State to go to a community college in California and then transfer to UC Santa Barbara she never attended WSU. Thompson got an offer from Sports Illustrated to do body painting for their Swimsuit issue before beginning her career in broadcasting. Infinity was the first single released by New York based rock band Against the Current in 2014. The first time they were acknowledged was due to their YouTube songs that cover popular artists. Together With Against the Current did a collaboration with She and Against the Current did a collaboration with Alex Goot on the cover of Good Time by Owl City and Carly Rae Jepsen. This collaboration has helped to increase their popularity. The cover was Good Time by Owl City as well as Carly Rae jepsen. This was a huge help in growing their recognition.

Her half-sisters are two brothers from both of her mothers' marriages. Alexander Martin (half-brother) from her first marriage with Dean Paul Martin.
